Welcome to the Bere Regis Cricket Club website. Please feel free to browse the site and find out more about our club.
For the 2008 season the Saturday XI will wage another campaign in Division 3, after an eleventh hour bid for promotion in 2007 fell short during what was a largely up and down season owing to the weather. The Sunday XI will again shape up for another year in Division 3 after holding their own in a fiercely competitive 07 campaign. The Evening League outfit played out their inaugural season in Division 1 of the Dorchester & District Evening League, and held their own finishing a creditable 5th in the division. This presents a great challenge to the club, once again we will look forward to 2008 giving the BRCC youngsters a chance, and hopefully the weather will be more generous this term. Many thanks to the Captains and Vice-Captains for their sterling efforts during the season, and also to the Club Chairman and groundsman for his total dedication...again.
Congratulations to the Indoor VI who finished a creditable fourth the Clayesmore School Division 1 section of the Dorset competition.
The Youth Section is now being run by Andy Kent and Alan Green. The coaching sessions will start on Tuesday 13th May 2008 at 6.30pm at the Bere Regis Recreation Ground. Our thanks must go to Paul Cox, the Chairman and Chris Oram for running the section last year. This has been bolstered by the buildinf of the net for the new season.
The BRCC Fantasy League 2008 is now listed on this site, and the latest week can be found under the Postings link under the Community section.
